I have been drawing these "glyphs" for years ... mostly in meetings and lectures etc ... just continuous lines of squares, lines, circles etc. So I decided to add them to my Zentangle pattern list as "Glyphs". I hope you enjoy them.

Oooh this one is right up my alley :) Who else is a "Whovian"?
For the uninitiated that is a person who likes Dr Who and his little blue Tardis.
I was inspired by the Time Lord's written language "Gallifreyan" of interlocking circles. The use of circles is something that reoccurres in my art, so these mixed up circles and lines fit perfectly.
Happy Tangling ... Jane x

I ran out of time today ... just a little bit ... Some people like to do Random Acts of Kindness (RAK's) in the form of little tangle tiles and leave them in public places. You could do something like this, writing an inspirational quote or single word in the bottom pane.
Using them as gift tags would also be lovely. Just like an illuminated page from an old text.
I have really just used random swirls and curls with Printemps ... have fun with this one.

The bold background of "Schway" makes the lowercase "c" look as though it is floating.
You could use add other tangle patterns inside of the white spaces in "Cirquital", but I think leaving them clear in this drawing adds lightness to the picture.

A single pattern repeated in each string line space can be effective, although I might have also mixed it up with a different pattern for interest.
Welcome to another of my patterns.

This is the start of my second little One Tangle book.
This journey is going along really well and I am enjoying tangling on a daily basis.
Sometimes you start to draw a pattern and it all goes horribly wrong and becomes something else ... so today I introduce you to a new pattern by me ... "All Thumbs". I am pretty sure you can work out which one this is amongst the other patterns I am introducing here as well :)
Have a great week tangling everyone ... Jane xxx

The Letter "Z"
The background of this tangle is
my favourite .. I use it a lot in my larger named tangle drawings.
This tangle drawing marks the end of the first book of One Tangle drawings. 75 drawings. To be honest, I didn't really think I would get this far with it all, but perseverance and plugging along one stroke at a time got me here.
I hope you are all enjoying the journey ... I know I have close to 400 people looking at this site every day. It would be nice if some of you stopped to say hello. Regardless, I am enjoying my One Tangle Journey.
Happy Sunday. Thank you to everyone who drops by. Happy Tangling too! Jane x

Day Sixty Six
I thought we might like to have a look at using tangles as borders. You can make them any size to fit a photograph or a special message printed on your computer or hand drawn. Or to decorate a card.
You can see here that the triangles are not even ... they are loosely drawn and I like that look.
