Oh Blue, how I love thee :)
I have used a blue Pigma Micron 01 pen to draw my tangles and then shaded with various blue coloured pencils from the Faber Castell Polychromos range. Really any coloured pencils will do for shading.
I have only 100 days of One Tangle to go and my 365 days are up.
Rather than name all the tangles here, I have simply called this one "Mooka" fields in blue. Mooka being the predominant tangle pattern used.

Okay ... revisiting the use of Marasu as my string line and putting two tangles in the sections. I am using my variation of Opus and also Knightsbridge (a favourite)

Tripoli becomes Rixty becomes IX
Having a little fun playing with this new tangle.
I can't remember the name of the tangle down in the bottom left. I was sure it was an official Zentangle pattern, but I can't find it ... anyone?

I love wiggly lines!

I like the 'Nzeppel in the circles ... I am not sure I like the Mooka around the outside ... I really wanted something that contrasted more ... another one to revisit later I think .

I have used the tangle pattern "Marasu" as the string line and then added a different tangle pattern in each section .. I would like to do this with two patterns showing contrast later on.

Squeee ... excitement plus ... see that tangle over in the top left ... that's a new one from Zentangle. Go see your friendly CZT and do a class to learn about that :)
Today I have pretended I have four tiles and have drawn the string line through the four. Usually you would have four separate pieces ... fun to get other people to draw on each of the tiles and then put them all together again.

Feathers and flowers ... I love them and they look great in a circle like this. You could do a circle cut out on a gift card and have your tangle picture inside ... that would look cute.
The Feathered Leaves and Swirls are a mixture of all different flowers, leaves and swirls. Patterns are available in my One Tangle Field of Flowers Volume III e-book available on my web site as a PDF http://janemonkstudio.com/

A busy tangle ... I tend to draw this type of tangle when I have no idea of what I want to do ... and no string line either :)
