Video Posted on my Facebook Page

I am sorry I have been missing in action here for the past few weeks.  I am currently working on a deadline and should be back to normal next month.   In the meantime I have posted a couple of little videos on how to draw my tangle pattern Tortle Flower.    Go check it out:

Don't forget all my tangle pattern design step outs are available as ebook downloads in my One Tangle series Volume I to IV on my web page

Cheers for now .. Jane x

Guest Blog Post from Alice Hendon CZT and Jane Eileen CZT

I asked Jane Eileen and Alice Hendon to do a blog post for me on their Zentangle: Stacked and Tangled FaceBook group.  If you haven't already been to see it, it is well worth going over and joining.  They are hoping to hit 1000 members by Sunday this week.  Go and help them out.
Here is what they have to say :

When Jane Eileen and Alice Hendon formed the Facebook group Zentangle: Stacked and Tangled, they figured they would get a small group of members to share their simple stacks.  They knew good things come in small packages, especially when it comes to zentangles. Jane and Alice offered a description, some samples, and posted their new group.

What pleasantly surprised them however, was the way zen artists could interpret the same words and come up with so many different examples, with so much depth and beauty.  Add to that the fact that about 800 members joined in the first two weeks. In just three short weeks the membership has now grown to 950 strong.

Among the work posted has been vertical, horizontal, diagonal, spiral and interwoven stacks, some even with aerial views in every colour of the rainbow and on amazing substrates including paper, wood  and clay.  Jane and Alice were, shall we say, amazed just to put it lightly.  Seeing all the pieces of art has expanded not only their thinking, but that of the other members as well.  Inspiration manifested, if you will.

Members are not required to post their work but it is welcomed, so both artists and observers are accepted to the little museum of stacks.  Jane and Alice hope you will join them too, if you weren't already there.  Zentangle: Stacked and Tangled on Facebook.
